About the PAC

Overview

The Beaconsfield Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a dedicated, non-profit organization that collaborates closely with Lord Beaconsfield Elementary School to enhance the educational experience for our children.

Our mission is to support the academic and personal development of every student within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

PAC meetings serve as valuable opportunities for school staff to present new initiatives, gather community feedback, and address any concerns from parents.

Who Is the PAC?

The PAC is led by a dedicated group of volunteer Executive Members, but all parents automatically become members upon enrolling their children at our school. We strongly encourage all parents to actively participate in our meetings and volunteer their time to help improve our school community. These meetings are where important decisions are made, including the introduction of new programs—both curricular and extracurricular—and how PAC funds are allocated to support these initiatives.

What does the PAC fund?

The PAC finances many of the things the VSB does not provide our school.  From trees to technology carts, the PAC works with the school principal to determine Beaconsfield’s needs and how best to meet these needs, most often through fundraising efforts and donations.

What We Do

Our key responsibilities include:

Facilitating Communication

We ensure open and effective communication between parents, teachers, and school leaders to address concerns, share ideas, and discuss school initiatives.

Supporting School Programs

The PAC organizes and supports various school events, fundraising activities, and enrichment programs that benefit students and enhance their learning experiences.

Providing Feedback

We gather and represent parent feedback on school policies, programs, and initiatives, helping to shape decisions that impact our children’s education.

Encouraging Community Involvement

By fostering a strong sense of community, we encourage parental involvement and volunteerism, creating a supportive network for both students and families.

Our PAC is dedicated to creating a positive and engaging school environment, where every parent has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their child’s educational journey. We welcome all parents to join us in our mission to enrich the school community and support student success.
